Somewhere under the Channel

The other day we talked about the Channel Tunnel, which connects France with England under the English Channel and commented on the tremendous feat of engineering thought. Lo primero que llama la atención de esta exposición, para los que recuerden la Expo'92 de Sevilla, es que ésta tiene una vocación más modesta. No es comparable ni en área ni en número de pabellones a la de Sevilla. Pero es que se trata de una exposición internacional no universal como la de Sevilla. El hecho de que sea Universal no significa que vengan expositores de Venus o Alpha Centauri, sino que, según explica con precisión Mohamed Hassad en su defensa de Tanger 2012:

The works are well advanced. Let's do a review of the most emblematic buildings of the exhibition.

The water tower:
