Our numbers come from those used modern by Hindus, then popularized and extended by the Arabs. The form number has a mathematical sense. Each number is drawn with a number of angles equal to the number represented. Zero, to have no angle, it is circular.

Would you have liked the theory?, For I fear it is completely false. But it is a beautiful theory and I like to think that is true, that all makes sense.
