real name is Chan Marshall. Love Bob Dylan, her mother got beer in the bottle as a baby, has significant problems with alcohol and demases, in many cases causing devastating presentation. There are some things I learned about Chan Marshall in recent days: with the launch of its second album of covers (apparently, you do very well), Jukebox, comes invariably appear in each and every music magazines and supplements of shows that I read.
You could say that embodies the cliché of the tortured artist for a tough childhood and vices in which he fell.
So, back to my home recently after a month of absence in Capital, the first thing I do is knock on the door of the universe Cat Power.

"Song to Bobby": la única canción escrita por Chan que hay en Jukebox . Así como Bob tuvo su "Song to Woody" como homenaje a su ídolo, Woody Guthrie, Marshall hace lo propio con Dylan. Eso, más una declaración de amor sin ningún dissimulation.
