Holcomb Dhower Doors, Seattle, Wa

God save us from the envious. And the envy corrodes the soul.
Today I am reflecting on a question that has long come to me asking:
While we all have a good side and bad, why bother to some people the good of others? Why some people live badly and can not avoid comparison with its peers? Why
angry for life before the achievements of others? Why
is more marked in them that negative feeling to the point of becoming angry when they fail to prove that efforts to achieve nor what the other so without even having been proposed as a priority goal?
Instead of hating people who are happy for life, I am sure that they would easier to learn from them, but not "want to be them." These poor people gnawed by envy and full of negativity, often fail to see beyond their noses, they do nothing for themselves, which lived in the shadow of others. They can not, in their blindness, realized that what was not the happy got that ran wild behind happiness, trying to seize it at any price, but why they chose a way of life to give without asking in return, make without trying to appear, help to help, and it is thus inadvertently strengthened day by day, giving their wisdom, their time and encouragement, without waiting to be asked.
A symptom that characterizes people with the sad disease of envy is that they can not see how generous and humble man is able to help or apologize and forgive your own mistakes, and all this without feeling guilty and without resentment.
delivery is the attitude that makes them happy, this measure does not spontaneously offer to help others selflessly, without expecting anything in return. A matter of choice that makes a difference to those who worry all the time by collecting for himself, not only material goods but, worse still, the brightness fool the "include" an overwhelming desire for power, an insatiable appetite to have more than others, a perpetual longing to feel more than others, a sickly feeling which makes them unhappy when one leaves the view, rather than goals achieved, his altruism, his joie de vivre, its simplicity.
Envy is a condition that allows those who do not get it to recognize that all people, naked outer shell, just have something to show: the soul. And see virtues in naked souls, they inexplicably adds to the picture.
God save us from the envious and free us from the envy that eats the soul!
